I am looking at getting a tiger but not sure which one would be best for me as I know there are several differences between the xrx and xcx.

I am mainly going to be riding on roads and to France and back so just looking for some advice on which one to go for?

Xrx, more for the roads than xcx, so would say that would be best option for you!
Unless you actually want to ride off road, go for the road version.
Doesn't wheel size give better choice of road tyre on Xrx?

I would say that the XRX gives the best package for the use you outline Watty. Cruise control very useful for long distances, comfort seats back and front, etc. The XCX has the White Power suspension which is great - for off road in particular - but the bigger front wheel does not suit long distance road work.

Here is one of those moments in life, where you seriously think what have I done to deserve this!

Picked bike up this morning, great ride home, parked up had a cup of tea and then decided to have a quick run around local country roads. Got to end of street and a big ffffing truck cuts the corner :eek:I have to move severely to the left to avoid him and I clip the kerb :(and land on my side with bike on floor.
Truck driver buggers off :mad:without stopping and I need the help of passing van driver ;)to get up and pick bike up. Luckily only a few cosmetic scatches :mad:on bike, but I would have severely beaten the truck driver with my sweaty Scottish socks (I am Scottish)had I got my hands on him, but never mind I live to ride another day!!!!

I actually have a Ghost but didn't get the chance to add to bike before going out, so he got off the hook! But thanks for flagging.
