In my defence, I just got a dose of morphine, so maybe not the best time!!!! :p
But then again, I'm partially off my face, so don't really care :laughing::laughing:

Anyways, Bellingham out, final round of voting. Vote only if your coming, blah, blah, blah.......

If Wales is chosen before Wednesday morning I can phone the Bunkhouse and hotel on Wednesday morning before I go on Holiday. After that it's email only as I'm off to Russia for two and a bit weeks.

If the Bellingham voters switch to Scotland then it will be a close thing. I'm Happy to let this final vote run to say Tuesday.

If I recall, about 18 went to the first GMU and 28 to the second. So if we get a similar increase in numbers then I think it is likely that we will get exclusive use of either of the Scottish or Welsh bunkhouses. I'm reasonably confident that the owner in Wales will hold the Bunkhouse on an exclusive basis until quite late in the day. I just need a non-hypothetical conversation with them.

Let it run till Monday night, looks like Wales next year, but let's give it due process. Only fair on Dougie's proposal. :kissing_heart:

Switch to Scotland all those that want Great Quiet Roads, Stunning Views ,
    and a
journey to and from, ( thats why you bought the bike in the first place! Right?)
    Also History and Grandeur .
Douge's bunkhouse looks the business as well.

Mid Wales is crowded with busy roads and no real spaces between the towns, isint it?

Just a pity we have to ride hundreds of miles on very busy motorways to get there. Lol.

yeah thats the problem with locations down south or up north, although i'd prefer Scotland i'm already organized with a route down to south Wales if need be, avoiding the motorways;),it will take me 2 days but some great roads on the way down  might have to take the motorway home though if it's not held mid week:eek::dizzy:

I managed to make it from Nottingham to garelochead on some great roads and very little motorway riding , I believe these roads have lanes for traveling in a southerly direction as well.

It not really about that. It's about accessibility, or at least in my mind it is anyway. I believe Wales will give more members the opportunity to attend.

Wales has a lot to offer. It does have quite roads, it also has busy ones. If selected I will aim to devise a couple of ride out routes that riders will enjoy.
