    Hi everyone

I've got a leaky oil seal around the gear shifter on my 1996 triumph thunderbird 900.

Can the old one be removed with long nose pliers or cut out, or does it require removing the sprocket cover.

    Cheers jimi

    Yippee yet more good luck.
I warmed the bike up, took the lever off to see how bad the leak is and wether it was the inside or outside of the o ring...

The o ring wasn't sitting right back in its housing, a 16 mm socket and a couple of taps later, no leak.

Well at least not yet, I'll know for sure after a good run out.
