Leaking Exhaust

I had the exact same problem. Here's how i fixed it:

I used ordinary silicone sealant from Screwfix, ( not tight but had some in the shed so I thought I'd try it), smoked a bit but works just the same.
I had some heat resistant but I think that's gone the same way as some other stuff when we had 'professional' removal people move us up here, thieving bastards!
