It's a funny old world .Way back in 1977you rode in the rain on Japanese tyres at dire risk to your life.
Now for the first time ever I have a set of Bridgestones . Luckily for me the front one a 110/80-18 was the only one in the country. The rear was easy as I had the 16" rim relaced to a 17" . I' so glad to see they are actually made in Japan and not in China as we're the previous metzelers . I try not to buy anything Chinese however they seemed like really good tyres .
I used to fit my own tyres but as the carcasses are so stiff now I took it to a tyre shop . Word is Michelin tyres are the easiest to fit . Just my luck they don't have that front tyre size !

Owner of old Ducati Paso with the genuine 16" read wheel don't have many choice.
Shinko (japanese manufacturer) is doing the correct size and is a favorite tire for those.
Hopefully they are also very good tires.
Japanese tires like Bridgestone are made in various plant in various country. Not sure the ones made in China under a strict QC are worst than others.
