Rideout IOM TT 2017

    After spending 2 1/2 hours on the IOM Ferry web site this morning and 4 failed attempts I finally managed to book for the 2017 TT. I tried to book at 08:30 but it took until 11:00 until I was successful, even then I had to extend my planned stay by 1 night as all the return ferrys on the 10th June we fully booked. I also had to travel via Heysham rather than Liverpool or Birkenhead as these were also fully booked both ways by the time I got through.

    I've also managed to book some fantastic accommodation in Laxey. So only 363 sleeps to go.

    You will soon have to book 2 years in advance for the TT ! :eek:

    Amazing - apparently there are an extra 10,000 people going each year.

    Going with Mrs Rooster. She likes camping but not for 9 nights.

    Off this morning to the IOM.
    The ferry was booked in June last year.
    We're staying at a mates place, in the south of the Island, so no worries about accommodation thankfully.

    We were the same for the Classic/Manx in August, as soon as the ferries were available last September got them booked to ensure we got the dates we wanted and it was a struggle....can't wait.
