    Hi.

    DT50
    RXS100

    KLE500
    MZ250 x 3
    KR1s
    GSX1100f
    R80ST
    K75RT
    K100RS
    K75S
    R1100GS
    R100RT
    Transalp PD06
    Trophy..........

Having had a couple of triples i the K format, and riding a mates T160 and his ST 955i i did know about the 'rightness' of a triple. Alas, that rightness translates as an ever enthusiastic throttle hand which is leading me to a Twin again. So you can see, my search for a 'keeper' is long. What I realise I want, is an SR500 with more torque and more power, but still in that format. That narrows it down to either Harleys or a Bonneville/Speedmaster.

BTW T160 is the maddest, best sounding motorcycle engine on tickover I have ever heard. Then when opened up through Raygun silencers with 5* petrol sourced....

Hello and welcome to the forum M0rt.

I understand that you have a really nice Trophy, which is weird as I almost brought one that looked very similar

Post photos when you get a chance.

    Cheers

    Steve

Yeah....really sorry about that. I *love* the T300 and I really did intend to keep it, but a ride out yesterday had me grinning from ear to ear and being far too eager on the throttle. I need something with a low down power delivery that keeps me @ sane riding. Doesn't matter how often I tell myself that I will keep it down...

Welcome and shame on you that there are not more Triumphs in you history.

You will love the Trophy as tripples are the best,

BMWs, my there is some agricultural engines in your bunch, I had a 1200RT, great for eating up the miles and not bad handling but rubbish engine and terrible gearbox with the usual clunk between 1 and 2

My Sprint ST that I sold two years ago is still my all time fave

    So again welcome and enjoy

    Col

Changing gears on a BMW is like kicking a box of spanners
