Intermittent Misfire - Speed Triple R 2013

My S3 has an intermittent cold start misfire issue. The symptoms are it won't take partial throttle or tickover and basically runs like a pig unless you ride it hard (not ideal from cold!). It clears it's throat after a couple of minutes and then is fine. The plugs are new (but it sometimes did it last year with the old plugs). Interestingly it never does it from a cold start at home, but often at a cold start from work.

It occurred to me that the difference is, when I go home there's a significant amount of 30mph and slower before putting it in the garage. When I arrive at work it's switched off after just having its arse kicked.

As an experiment, when I ride to work on it I'll let it idle for a couple of minutes before switching it off to see if that helps.

Anybody else had a similar issue or could shed some light as to why it might do it?
