Installation Arrow Exhaust Triumph Scrambler

I managed to put one on my thruxton, download the instructions off the triumph website, follow them, don’t tighten anything up until assembled then tighte from the front to the back using a torque wrench. Might be an idea to put something on the header pipe nuts for a few days before starting, have a look here

 

Took one off my Newchurch, it was a fairly simple quick job

The above is the universal adjustment tool for anything non electrical.

 

I would like to state that no percussive tuning was required in the removal of the aforementioned system*

And I did have to put the replacement downpipes and Tors cans on, which was just as easy



*mainly because I wanted to be able to sell it afterwards....

 

The only things a dealer could do that you couldn’t are electronic mods. undoing nuts and doing them back up again is mans work.
But if all else fails call the good woman to read the instructions

 

If you we’re worried fit the pipes and take it it to Triumph for the software update

 

Personally I don’t think anything serious would happen, but there has to be a reason that there is a different tune for the pipes and one would be for better running. If you don’t want the full benefit of the pipes but just want a bit more noise why not just drill holes in the original pipes? Save a lot of time and bother.

with the arrows you can cut down the baffle or remove it completely so it will get louder
