Hi guys, replaced IACV motor last yr when I realised the plunger wasn't actually attached to the motor!! Today I've checked it again after a problem with starting, and after trying motor for a bit... I took out the motor the plunger sprang out and upon recovery the shaft was found to be covered in melted plastic!!!! WTF! I guess this is why its such a pig to start again plunger not connected to anything useful... As this was less than a yr ago I'm going to contact Triumph and see what they have to say... Also shouldn't the motor run thru its range on start-up? This one seems to move a tiny bit on start-up and then on shut-off it seems to run through the whole range... What the hell would cause the shaft to behave like this any way??

Am I alone or has this happened to anyone else?
