Well I went to see this bike today and she is now in my courtyard !!!

2006 Triumph Tiger 955i (alloy wheels); 1 owner from new with full service history; matching panniers and topbox; centre stand; new tyres and chain set; full tank of fuel.

And you know what the best bit is Steve and Crispey? She's blue, a beautiful shade of metallic blue.

    Pictures will follow.

Still can't quite believe the riding experience :):):):).

Engine/gearbox - 6 speed box. The engine is a minter with amazing roll-on torque available in 6th from 2000rpms !!! Give a big handful and she's off like the proverbial scalded cat !

Suspension and Handling - surprising smooth and compliant. Makes me wonder if the previous owner spent any money on upgrades it's that good. Going through a series of bends the steering is so neutral and makes smaller roads an absolute pleasure.

Riding position - previous owner must have been a short-arse so I'm going to have to get a different rider seat.

Am I happy with her? You bet I am...............................

Did I say? Pictures will follow.

    Well done, that man!:)
About time you got a bike with the correct number of cylinders!
I agree about the 955i engine. My Daytona CE was such a 'torque monster' - more creamy power from way down than I had any right to expect. Yes it would pull from 2,000rpm in top gear, even when two up, although, to be fair, I had to be gentle with it. 'Twas easier, and kinder, when ridden solo!
Enjoy the Tiger. They'rrrrre Grrrrreat!! (Can you still get Kellogs Frosties??). Unless you're a shortarse! I tried one of the early 885s and could only just touch the floor (6ft 1in with a 31in inside leg).

Well done mate - finally a bike owner again and more importantly a Triumph owner!
Great looking bike and in the right colour - even has the matching tank cover with stripes - fantastic. (it will also match your jacket Dave!)
Look forward to seeing you both in four weeks time.
