    Hi all,

    Anyone uprated their horn?

I have a twin set that I have been meaning to fit to a bike, but never got round to it, but due to a couple of `incidents` lately, I don't want to leave 'em on the shelf, when they could be better employed waking a cage driver up!

I have a 'Screaming Banshee' secondary air horn fitted to my Speed Triple
Mine is hte split system that unfortunately they dont supply now, but the principle is that your original horn remains and you can toot toot on that still, but if you hold down the horn for longer than 1/4 a second and the air horn kicks in.
It can also be linked to flash your main bean at the same time so you can be heard and seen.

They now operate out of America only ut I know they are looking for a UK distributor.

The compressor recently failed on me (after 10 months), and Peter sent me a replacement from USA which arrived in 4 days.

I have also upgraded the original horn that failed with a £15 jobbie from Halfords, it is like the original but a deeoper tone and a 'snail' cover which helps it resonate a bit.

    Thanks for the heads-up.

Think I won't bother with the pair I have, might just go for the soundbomb mini, as it's a simple `plug and play` with no wiring to worry about. Twice as loud as the weedy thing fitted to bikes these days sounds ok.

Stebel Nautilus fitted to mine. Makes a serious noise. Got it wired with the standard horn, so make a good high and low sound. Everyone hears it !!!!
