Hi guys - just became the proud owner of a 2017 T100 with ONLY 2K miles on it! Love the feel and handling of the bike, wish they would have included a small compartment under the seat (or anywhere) for reg and insurance docs but it is what it is...

I immediately noticed that the horn is not working and will check the fuse box first thing. Has anyone else had this issue? Any other thoughts?

    Thanks from a newbie!

Thanks Dozer I'll try that ASAP, and thanks everyone else for the warm welcome without any snarky 'if you would just search on this, that, and the other previous threads you would have found the answer' responses. This may indeed be the best vehicle forum on the net (I belonged to an M3 BMW group for awhile and all they did was try to one up each other constantly).

If that works Dozer I'll buy you a shot of Bushy's even though I'm a scotch guy.

David: There is a locking box made that fits behind your license plate. They are about $20. I have one on each one of my bikes. Sorry I cannot remember where I got those, but I have seen them on a number of online motorcycle stores. Maybe someone else can remember. ...J.D.

Thanks J.D. that may be a good solution for me - don't a;ways feel like having a wallet and phone in my pocket!

Legend rear view.jpg Ahh ! This brain is old and moves slow. The brand name is a"Grifter" box. Found a picture with one installed on my old Legend. ...J.D.

Hi David and welcome to the forum  looking forward to seeing your ride. Good luck sorting the horn. If you have a test light or voltage tester you can see that the connection is supplying power on pushing the button.
I use Kreiga bags for my stuff.

Thanks Dart - checked fuses and connections and all looked good so next step will be checking voltage to the unit...

Assuming the horn itself failed is there a consensus on the best after market options for this m/c? Would also like to hear from anyone who has saddle bags for this bike that they absolutely love and wouldn't trade for anything (there are so many options out there that it's mind boggling).

Thanks Don I'll probably get one of those stash boxes but down the road will also need some great saddle or tank bags per the previous post - any suggestions are appreciated.

    Denali make good horns.
Kreiga have full range of snap together drypack bags and saddle bags (mine is US20litre drypack), but they have 30litre and 10litre for side bags.
They unclip off the seat to become back packs for convenience and security

Dave, I have a '19 T100. For my "every day" bags, I use a pair of lockable Hepco and Becker soft bags. For the long haul, I use the Saddlemen roll bag that fastens to the side bags

Are you sure there isnt a small compartment under the seat itself? On my TTR there is a small compartment on the underside of the seat. It just snaps open for documents.
