    Hi guys,

    Been away too long,so hello again!

    I'm looking at buying a VFR1200F 2012 and wondered if anyone has rode one and has any tips?

    2012 is the updated version with ABS and (slightly) larger fuel tank and no recall issues.

    Just check it is a 2012 model and not the earlier version that didn't sell until 2012 when discounted. The 1200VFR was quite a slow seller!

    Thanks, looked that up and the outer dial colour is the main give away as the pre 2012 outer is red.

    The VFR1200F is an awesome machine. You could go from middle England to the south of France in a day & in perfect comfort.
    Think of it as having all day comfort Goldwing credentials.
    Without the ponderous steering, lardy weight & lack of ground clearance.

    You'll love it @gazzatheyid :grinning:
