I've got a pal who has a Triumph America 865 carbs and it has done 120,000 kms, always two up and usually with full camping gear - and still going strong.

Highest mileage I know of , My 1994 trident I bought it ex-demo from JCS triumph shop in Perth WA with 7,000klms on it. Sold it in 2000 with 161,000klms and saw it again in 2013 with 30,000klms and the new owner told me it was a new speedo the old one died when it had 230,000klms showing , I expect its now over 300,000klms, only parts replaced being carby slides, cam chain and start sprag clutch everything else originals. Just lots of fuel tyres and chains in the years of operation.

Oh and my current ride 2008 see my avatar , now has just over 101,000klms, I'd estimate some 20,000 of which were done two up with camper trailer attached, and a similar amount towing my smaller fibre glass fully enclosed cargo trailer.

    Cheers Capt.
Been on two wheels now for 35yrs and would have close to 500,000 klms under the wheels, on 9 bikes.

My 93, 900 Trophy turned 99,999 miles while I was in Norway in July
not much but it was only used a for few hundred miles between 1999 and 2012
so its only half as old as it seems.
Two sprag clutches, an alternator drive flange, ignition pick up and the usual tyres, chains etc. Has had towbar since new and has towed a camping trailer to Norh cape, the Czech republic and UK m/c camping rallies.I don't have a car the bike gets used most days.
