My new beastie was delivered on Friday @ 15:30, by 19:00 it had the V & H pipes, small indicators and tail tidy fitted. Baffles removed and sounding sweet...All I need now is a reg and September the 1st so I can have some fun!
    Cheers.

Cheers and thanks for the welcome.
Spent most of yesterday "fettling", everything polished that was metal
Away now for a week so all I can do is browse that parts catalogue and make an ever increasing list.... I have waited since April for this beast and am now seriously frustrated not getting to ride her...already booked the first service for the 6th and working till the 3rd so it will be a fun few days

Howdy Vans, I've got a matte black R, I might re-register it on sep 1st to keep up to date. I find the stock cans fab, excellent noise.

Hello and welcome. Like you I am waiting for the 1st, and intend to get my Speedie serviced within a week or two depending on the dealer workshop space. Those 3 days sounds like they'll be action packed and fun.

Welcome in and congrats on the new Thruxton. Probably going to be the worst week you've ever had not being able to get out on her

Thanks again for the welcome and yes it's going to be a long few days.
USA spec V & H and for the moment baffles out. But TBH they are so small I am not sure how much of a difference they will make at full chat. Hitting the "sport" button makes them louder and more "classic. Not one to attract attention normally but it needs the full growl...

Didnt know you could re-register a bike???

I might have to go back to work early and book the 1st off...
    Cheers
