Hi I'm Steve and live on the Isle of Wight and am 66 years old/young
I've just brought my first triumph a 2010 Bonneville se in 1959 colours
I have a couple of questions the first concerns the centre stand now it could be I have a aluminium plate on the floor and maybe I got one part of the stand caught on it but when I was trying to put it on the stand the bike kept leaning towards me making it hard to raise the bike onto it, is this normal?

second question concerns the amount of heat from the engine specifically the engine cases seem to get very hot again is this normal?

other than these issues it more than exceeds my expectations I love it. apart from my other bike a Yamaha TZR125r 4DL 1. I've just got rid of a Honda 500s twin other bikes I've owned have been Honda VFR750,
BMW K1100 LT, Yamaha Majesty 400 scooter, BMW R100RT, Yamaha Virago 750. and 1 or 2 others I started with a BSA C15 many years ago now.

vaguely remember them I was mostly 996, Commander, and Samson radars
worked in Paint & Process.

 

was that the AR3D? if so I think the Commander must have been the update.

Think we have a crossed wire lol the picture is the commander system. Yeah I looked the AR3D up and I think we had one or two come through the shop for a repaint.
