Hi, Just bought my first Triumph - picking up a Daytona 675R on Saturday.

Spent most of my youth on CBR600's but I have ridden the last five years on a large adventure bike, it's now time to get back on a light sports bike.

Looking forward to getting out on a few track days next year too!

    David.

Hi and welcome to the forum.

The 675's have got to be one of the best track day bikes about as they are so easy to flick about.

    Cheers

    Steve

Well rain didn't stop play but it certainly cut it a little short.

Didn't really get a chance to explore the new bike's manners as the road conditions were shite!

Gonna go again tomorrow me thinks:biggrin:

Have you put any more miles on the motorcycle David?

I went out late on Sunday afternoon for a blast - Only did about 50 miles but managed to get an idea of the full awesomeness of this thing!

Once again the the road conditions in Kent were either damp, leafy, cold or clogged with cars and after being bogged down on the A21, (severe queuing traffic on the bit between Pembury and Tonbridge), I turned round and headed for home.

As long as its not raining heavily this weekend I shall be out again to try and complete a chunk of the running in mileage.
