Hi all, names robert. As title states i live in tiny village in the south west of France, about an hour or so out of Bordeaux. Hi to all . hang around on the VFRD forum sometimes. Have always loved v-twins, sadly nothing out there does it for me at the moment when taking everything into consideration ( finance / price / insurance prices / maintenance / power / look / new euro emmision laws / french governing laws for all non-abs bikes ) "you can understand the head ache all that can provoke " So ...... Had a sv1000s ( sold ) Then a ktm rc8r ( which was unfortunately too expensive to live with but was magnificent ) tradded it in for a low km VFR800f 2014 did 21 000 kms ( fell in love with it, then out !! got really tired of the v-tec) and so tradded the vfr for a zzr1400 2015 low kms too ( WOW ) that was bloody amazing !!!!!!! that i sold to pay off loans and enable me to buy my house in the country. Now that the house is bought i needed another bike, so i ordered and am awaiting delivery of a 2018 street triple 765 rs . added a heap of bits from the triumph catalog, got her on a 0.9% partial loan from Triumph and a 5 yr warranty. This will be my first Triumph, was undecided between a speed r ( left over and the rs ) decided i liked the rs a tad more. ( my wrists will enjoy a light bike for a change ) looking forward to being part of this forum. take care rob.

Hi Tucker, Black she is indeed !! requested a thin red stripe on both sides of the belly pan, to go with the other red bits here and there. ( the triumph dealer i ordered from has a good rep for subtile touches, we'll see ) thanks to all for the warm welcome .
Hi Dave, will take you up on that, not sure when, perhaps next year, or this who knows . thanks . rob.
