I spent three years motorcycling in West Germany in the 1960s. Mainly in North Rhine Westphalia and particularly in the Paderborn area and around Munich in Bavaria. A lovely country for touring.

Used to do a lot of off road riding on the Sennelager training area. I also used to ride regularly from Paderborn to Hameln. Lovely roads.
I purchased my first new motorcycle from a dealer in Paderborn.

I know the Parachute Centre well. I used to pass it when sneaking onto the training area. My favourite bash used to be up and down route 1.
