I am new to this site -- just wanted to say hello & introduce myself. I live in east Yorks. & ride a 1600 T/Bird at the moment. I have owned 11 Hinckley Triumphs & quite a few other marques over the years. I am currently enjoying my retirement & riding my T/Bird, with wife as occasional pillion. I could use some means of lifting T/Bird & any advice on suitable rubber tank knee pads if any one can help.
That a large strange, unpronounable, technical, time consuming name to type!! Welcome to the forum. Eric

Hi, folks -- thanks for the welcome messages & stand info. I will check them out. Sorry about the long title -- so to use a quote from our beloved P.M. ''just call me Dave''. Dave.
Had a look at Dave's bike yesterday, didn't realise there are no frame tubes underneath hence reluctance to lift on my scissor lift. Are these Thunderbird models supposed to use something that goes through swinging arm thingy?
