What do YOU think needs changing?

Was thinking of getting the TORS on there, what do you think of them? I don't want it to be too loud just a bit more bite than stock.

Been thinking about suspension and front light as well and maybe a tail tidy, get rid of the rear fender altogether but not sure.

Here's what I did to the back end of my thruxton PRESS
I saw a scrambler with an old black and white plate which looked really good.

Lots you can change Matt. TORS exhausts are fine but still too quiet for some - although they apparently get louder with age! I de-baffled my stock Bonnie pipes and have a louder set of cafe racer style ones (almost as saucy as biglads). Got rid of the stock indicators for small ones and rear light for a Lucas style one and fitted Scrambler mudguards which are much shorter than the stock Bonneville ones.

They look good...was hoping to keep the high exhaust that's why I was leaning towards TORS...anymore suggestions?

Hi Matt, I'm glad you asked!
I bought my 2007 Scram about 18 months ago and have enjoyed customising it gradually. I've tried to replace anything chrome with matt black, some parts I've had coated black at a local metal fabrication factory....paid a couple of quid to put my bits in with a larger job! I matt blacked my sump guard and crash bars and bought matt black mirrors from Ebay.
First thing to replace was the tail light and indicators. Got retro style mini replacements from Squaredeals, order online or talk to Frank. He gets stuff imported from British Customs, another great site for ideas.
Next up was the seat. I bought mine on Ebay and had it upholstered in brown leather. The single seat looks really cool, I prefer it to the double. Handle bars from Squaredeals, and stone guard for the headlight. Bought the TORS for £300 on Ebay, sound fantastic. Brown Oury handlebar grips from Spirit of the Seventies.Next investment will be improved, lighter rear shocks. Some good ideas on You Tube, look for Del boys Garage. This guy has a Scram and he is customising it.
First picture was taken up on Dartmoor, still hadn't changed the front indicators. Second photo shows replacement handlebars with Oury grips. Have fun. Enjoy the bike.

BTW I grew up in Plymouth, my parents still live down there in Plymstock. Would love to still Dartmoor on my doorstep to go for a ride! My brother just got married at Two Bridges Hotel ...there were some great roads out that way!

Change the tyres first. The stock tyres are noisy and not confidence inspiring. I put Anakee 3s on mine and the ride difference is amazing

That's interesting..so it made a big difference? Also thinking of putting on new smaller indicators...any suggestions?

I'm finding this really useful as a guide to what to look at! Thanks all!

    Tyre opinions - everyone's got'em !

I have used two sets of Avon Roadrider AM26 on my T100. Good price, last ages, grip is inspiring in all conditions.

And in terms of changing the indicators, can anyone give me some advice on how to do it or where to find a video on how to do it? It's all new to me but would like to start doing the changes myself!

Look here. If you get new ones with m10 size threads they will fit in to holes without needing any adaption, you will probably have to get a wiring loom for easy cable extension, I got my indicators from squaredeals and as I'd ordered other stuff I asked if he could discount he couldn't but threw in the wiring harness for free. If you are changing rears you might need to get a relocation bracket. You can get one that fits under seat like mine or one that mounts behind rear shocks.
