Rocket Here "she" Is

After a long period of waiting, due to my 4 months of working abroad (https://www.thetriumphforum.com/threads/on-the-way-to-the-origin-of-democracy), I picked up my new Rocket 3 R STORM (named "Stormi") yesterday at my dealer (www.gesslbauer.at) in the small village called Birkfeld in Styria.

After some hints and tips from my dealer a filled it up with fuel and rode my first 100 km in it back home. It was great. The weather was sunny, but it was very cool (2-4 degree celsius) and the roads were mostly wet. Therefore I did a smooth ride and enjoyed it! Today I did a small 70 km tour to my father in law to take off all the ugly security stickers. Today it was foggy and the humidity was near 100%.

In the morning I mounted my PUIG wind-screen (5 minutes are needed). It
looks better than the original from Triumph and has an interesting shape in my opinion.

 

After 300 km I am really satisfied with this bike! The acceleration is great. Due to the bad weather I have to be careful with the throttle grip. Otherwise the rear wheel spins despite the fully activated TC-system. The additional wind screen reduces the wind pressure from the chest as I expected.
