Help !

the last time I took a bike into a garage for that to be done was admittedly quite a while ago - it was an inline four & took about 3 hrs all in all - apart from paying for shims & maybe a rockercover gasket it's mainly a labour charge so I guess you could be looking at around £60-£70 depending on how much labour charges are these days . Most garages should give you an estimate before doing it though so I would ring round

 

A dealer service that includes valve clearances can be around the £500.00+. To just do the valves should be cheaper, worth ringing a couple of dealers for a quote. Have to say I think you would be very lucky to find anyone to do valve clearances for £60 or £70 as most Triumph dealers charge £70 - £90 an hour labour.
