Help! Damn 07/08 Hybrid Speed Triple!

Hey guys, I'm wondering if anyone has any inform that may help!

I have one of those bollocks of motorcycles it turns out made at the end of a year where they started changing stuff but not everything!

So I have a Speed triple registered September 07 but when I bought a 07 exhaust it didn't fit and couldn't understand why. So I called my local Triumph and gave them the chassis number and they said it was a 08 frame. So I had to send it back, but was chuffed the 08 pipe fitted I originally wanted.

Now I have bought the 08> R&G racing tail tidy. Wouldn't you know it doesnt fit!

Does anyone know rather than me sending this back can you fit an 08 tail light to a 07 bike or did they change too much?

Answered my own question guys. It annoyed me that much I went out and took her apart!

The answer is "No" even if I got a newer light it still wouldn't make the R&G raceing tail tidy fit. So I have decided to mock up,and make my own this weekend. There are plenty of parts there to work with.

So saved myself a bit of money there I suppose!
