How do you clean your helmet interior, do you remove the cheekpads etc., or can you get a spray you just spray on and leave without taking it all apart? I've got an Arai Rapide and the instructions are pretty hopeless for removing the interior, tried watching a few YouTube videos but can't find any for the Rapide. Cheers
I have same issue with my Arai - looks like the cheek padding is removable per an online brochure I found but that's it. Mine is an Axcess-3. The brochure does say all Arai interiors, removable or not, can be cleaned in place with mild detergent and a clean water rinse.
I remove all that is removeable from inside the helmet and hand wash in warm water / delicate wash then replace after completely dry. Do this once a year for my Shoei helmet.
