Hello All, Enjoying the forum and thought I would say hi. Just had a white 2019 Speed Triple RS sent to me from Edmonton, Alberta about a month ago. This is my second Triumph with a 2014 675 Daytona as my first. Traded in a few years ago Because of COVID travel was not possible. Bike is great but when it arrived I had no back brake because there was zero fluid in the master. Dealer could not explain. I did a fill and a bleed and now good. Also a paint flaw in one of the rear side panels. A little spot of army green paint. Picture sent and that is coming from the UK. Dealer sent replacement brake pads for the recall and I put those in under 20 minutes. Today I was just at about 800 KM so I did the 1st service oil change. All went good. I have no idea when I will get to the dealer who is about 1400 km away. The Daytona never gave me any trouble so hoping the ST is the same. Added the pictures of empty rear master cylinder and paint flaw. Anyway all the best to everyone and stay safe!
Hi and welcome in - I hope your Speed Triple experience improves from now onwards. I'd be horrified if I got a bike from a dealer with no brake fluid
I was a little shocked to say the least. If i could have been there in person to pick up the bike it would have been different.
Welcome to a terrific forum and a great community, yellowknife. I am have a 2019 Speed Triple RS (in white!) and love my bike. I hope your experience with your bike improves and that you can enjoy it as it's meant to be enjoyed. I'm sorry to read how far away your dealership is and hope things go more smoothly as you own your new bike.
Hi Mate and welcome, hope you enjoy and get the best from your bikes. Being a life long aircraft buff as well as motorbike fancier, just wondering from seeing your location in Yellowknife NWT, whether you're lucky enough to see Buffalo Airways classic fleet of DC3s DC4s etc operating out of Yellowknife airport? Love the Ice Pilots TV series and your home town and Northern Canada looks amazing, but I don't think I'd last long in your winters!
Buffalo flies everyday and we always see them. Here is a picture for you taken when I just got this car. Winter sucks for sure but the long sunny summer days make up for it. The fishing is also incredible. I came fourteen years ago not thinking I would be here even a year. Met my wife here, got a better job, bought a house and on and on. So not leaving now. You should try and visit one day. Nothing like it. The picture was taken in Jan. Maybe -35 C out at the time.
