Hello all, Chris from Harbor Springs, Michigan, close to the shores of Lake Michigan. Orginally from Alaska. We have our 2003 Tiger that we've owned for over 10 years, it's the forever bike. It's the one I've held the longest and never plan to swap out ever. Now that Tigey is 20 and almost old enough to drink here in the USA, I'm thinking it need some spa time so I'm going to check the tech section and see what it might need after such a long time. It's done well over the years, but starting to feel his age. Not many Triumph riders locally, but there is another Tiger rider out there in our area. He doesn't ride much anymore it seems.
Hello from the California desert. I know how you feel. I was one of the few Triumph riders in town for years. Now I have 2 riding friends that have new Triumphs. I still have the same old iron. My feeling about Triumphs is "The older they are, the cooler the get". ...J.D.
Greetings from a fellow Yank in NJ. Alaska to Michigan? It must feel like you've moved to the tropics! I had a buddy that was in med school in the early 80's. He showed up at my place on a Tiger. He said he had dropped out of med school and was going to see the country. Haven't seen him since. 2018 Speedmaster here.
Welcome. I'm still rocking a 2002 Triumph Bonneville America. I enjoy the lack of techno gadgets, and rider aids. Clutch, brakes, throttle, & an old White Snake & ZZ Top songs in my head.
