Hello, I have been riding for years and currently own a 2021 Yamaha Tracer 9GT. It's a great bike. I see where Triumph has the Tiger Sport 800 and 660. They both look like they could be fun to own. I thought this site would be a great way to see what other riders think of them.
@FastNeddy Welcome to the family. Both great bikes. I had the 660 and it was fantastic handled enough grunt to satisfy.
I had the 660 sport and whilst it is a capable machine if you have come of a 1000cc or bigger bike you will find it a bit lacking. I haven’t ridden the new 800 so cannot comment on this bike. I do currently have a 900 gt pro which is IMO the pick of the Triumph adventure bikes. Mind @Vulpes will likely chip in with a comment on his 1200 explorer
Hi and welcome. I own a 1200 GT Explorer, and can't fault it. Very easy to ride, very comfortable. Last year I did a 3800 mile, 10 countries trip in two weeks, and it did that with ease. Love it!.
