Hi all Just registered tonight and posted a pic of my 97 T595 in the Daytona section. Cheers. :upyeah: Never been on a bike before I got divorced in 99. Did my direct access and bought myself a lovely black CBR600FV which was a really nice bike but, being a little short in the leg, I dropped it on more than one occasion which was always embarrassing! Moved on to a 1989 NC30 in red/white/blue, what a machine that was, beautiful bike. Problem was, I became so comfortable on it that I couldn't stop riding it around like a loony and I was risking my licence, not good when you're self employed. Reluctantly sold that and said goodbye to biking, (but kept my lid and leathers in the loft :smile. Four years went by, four long years listening to other peoples bikes on a Sunday morning! Anyway, I could stand it no longer, I had to get another bike and I'd always loved the look of the T595/955i. I started to look around and couldn't believe how cheap they were compared to the Jap mainstream stuff! Couldn't find anything local but picked up a lovely black 97 T595 from Coventry with just 16,000 miles and rode it back home in the pissing down rain. Unfortunately I seem to have suffered all the "usual" early bike problems, (apart from the gearbox because I changed that when I had the engine apart after it ingested a bit of clutch spring). So, anyway, it is now fully up to 99 spec, has cost me a bloody fortune, but I love it !!
