Hi all from newbie member. Bought my new Trident 660 a month ago, so still running in. Bit tedious but we'll get there. Loving the bike though. First Triumph for about 50 years! Had a Twenty One (3TA) and then a Bonnie T120R in the early 70's. Had a CBR600 about 16 years ago, but nothing since then, till now!
Update. Passed 600 miles last week and had the service completed. Tacho flashing at 6000 rpm now. Bike feels much better after the service. Gear change has improved no end, and the quick-shifter works far more smoothly. Dealer told me the factory puts in a thinner, lower-quality oil for running in, and at the 600 mile service they put in the good stuff. Has made a huge difference. So now the fun begins.
