Hello guys from a female triumph rider. I'm from Essex please no Essex girl jokes lol:upyeah: I own a triumph legend tt that I have owned it since dec and I love every last nut and blot of her. I have ridden bikes for the last 32 years and had quite a few from nutty racing 2 stokes to 4. But never a custom. My bike has been lowered as at only 4ft 10 it hard to find a bike that fits. I do my own work on the bike fitting some new coils this Saturday. Looking forward to getting to know you all and just talk bike bike bike
Hi and welcome to the forum. I take it that you won't be looking to upgrade to a Tiger for your next bike then  Always a good idea to use a fuel additive with the carbed Hinckley's as they do gum up if not ridden all the time. Cheers Steve
Hi SteveJ, Interesting point about the fuel additive as my Bonnie has carbs. Any recommendations? Cheers
Thank you for the lovely welcome. SteveJ I drive the bike everyday to work and back all year round ( a round trip of 44 miles a day) I only have her sitting there the most for about a week should I still add the additive for just a week lay up? Im looking at getting a tank bag does anyone know if the thunderbird one will fit the legend? this is what she looked like when I got her the chrome on the wheels were peeling of because I will be driving her all year round desided not to rechome and make her stand out a bit, well happy with the result
Yes Steve, I use this stuff in both the fuel and engine as well as being brilliant for cleaning corroded bike parts as well. Marvel Mystery Oil and Fuel Additive Engine Hydraulic Lifter and Valve Treatment | eBay
Hello little legs  I'm guessing your seat must be really uncomfortable over long journeys ? Mine is really hard and uncomfortable, and it has twice the padding yours has..and I have my own 'built in' padding on top of that
:upyeah:huge thank you everyone for the great welcome :upyeah: Even with the bit of trouble the little monster has given me well proud of my wheels. Hi Billysandmollys dad I did a 180 mile round trip not long ago on my first triumph rat run and the seat was fine. Like you I also have extra padding built in padding but the triumph dealer I got my mean machine from had gel padding put in the seat just like the cbr400rrj so it's well nice on long trips.
I have a gel seat on my shopping list for my Bonnie, just bought some Mototwin silencers this week, so the seat will have to wait a week or two :upyeah:
