Hi folks. New to the forum here but not to bikes at all. So I would like some real world advice about the current crop of T120 Bonnevilles. I think the bikes look spectacular and would like to buy one very soon. However....I would like to know the ins and outs about how difficult it is to maintain the bike. I understand that the Bonnies have a 10k service interval but what I'd really like to know is does that 10k service NEED to be performed by a dealer? The reason I ask is because I do not have a local Triumph dealer and the nearest one is an 8 hr drive from me. From what I have gleaned from other Triumph owners is there is a light that comes on when the service is due and only the dealers have the electronic gadgets to turn that light off. Is this the case? Could a fellow turn that light off permanently somehow? Previous bikes include a number of dual sports that I really enjoyed and one Africa Twin that I didn't get along with.
