Handlebar mirrors for a bonneville

Hi and welcome to the forum. I fitted bar end mirrors to my Bonneville by removing the inserts in the bars to accommodate the mirror fitting. If you need to do this it can be done by hitting the inserts at the top and bottom with a big screwdriver to break the weld.

 

Hi Andreas, I fixed my bar-end mirrors by using the same screw that held in the bar-end cover plates. See attached pic :

 

Daves are different to the Halcyon ones I had, which have a longer fitting of the sort that screws into itself and expands within the bar to create a tight fit.

 

That's the same fitting as came with my mirrors, I just didn't use it.
