Being the cheapskate that I am, I want to save the cost of powder coating (at least for now) and touch up the frame after a few mods. I will also be blasting and repainting the clutch cover which has succumbed to the dreaded white rust. I see a lot of references to the black engine but the earlier greys don't seem to get a mention. Has anyone got the paint codes or better still, a link to a (sensibly priced) supplier?
Just use your nearest motor paint factor. They usually have an abundance of knowledge to help and full colour schemes to hand.
Not sure how far you got but i need the paint code for the silver they use on the Hinkley frames. Is this it ALUMINIUM DUPONT 460790101 T3120300-MH
Thanks very much for the reply - I couldn't find anything to match so in the end I decided to paint both engine and frame satin black using the excellent Simoniz Tough paint.
