    Hello!

    I have come from about a dozen bikes, starting from the early 70's. Most recently I traded in a 2006 Ducati Monster 1100S for an Indian Scout. However, the cruiser "experiment" ended, and I purchased a 2018 T120 in all Black. Love this motorcycle: it has reawakened the the "where does this road go?" feeling to riding. In three months I have put 3,000 miles on her.

    Of course, since I have traditionally modified *all* of my prior motorcycles with
    * Different seat
    * Different exhaust
    * Different handlebars
    * Different tires (wait, is that tyres?)
    * Different shocks/front end parts

    My new T120 I have left mostly unmolested except for the following:
    * The Triumph Four Badge emblems are perfect for the black on chrome look. Got 'em all!
    * I forgot how much I loved radial tires. Those bias-ply on the Scout were.... blah. Even after putting Pirelli Night Dragons on it. Great feel, but ... Love the Phantoms.
    * Kept the stock exhaust. Got tired (at 64 years young) of being noisy. I like the note with my earplugs in, a soft drone. Sometimes wish it had a bit more bark, but not willing to put up with the noise I created with my Scout and Bassani pipes. Still miss the Termignonis from the Ducati - that was an exhaust!
    * Just swapped the T120 bars for the Bobber bars. A perfect swap in functionality, and the lower drop and pullback is a good sporty compromise between Thruxton and Bonnie. Great fun in the twisties!
    * Installed the Fox shocks. Highly recommended, period.
    * Changed the rear sprocket to the Thruxton. Dropped RPM by about 10% across the board. Interestingly, it is sometimes how slow you can go (RPM wise) versus how fast (I live in the Bay Area - the Isle of Nine is one of my regular routes).
    * Looking at reducing the oil viscosity in the front end. Feels over-damped most of the time, particularly since the rear end is so perfect.
    * Tried the Triumph bench seat. Love the look, hate the feel. Oh, well - not the first time I have wasted $350.

    In short, the Bonnie reminds me of a very capable UJM from my early years. Love the torque, although the response is a little dull. But, this is a motorcycle to build upon for a long time.

    Looking forward to the community and it's wisdom!

    Welcome to the forum.
    I would look at upgrading to progressive springs up front.
    Check out the Riccor Intiminators as well.
    T120 arguably the best Bonnie ever built.
