Rideout GOOLE BIKE SHOW

• This Sunday 9th April at the Waterways Museum www.waterwaysmuseum.org.uk in sunny Goole.

The museum can be found just past the marina which is off the A161.
Last year was very well attended (they had to send out for more bacon!) and deemed a great success. Even the sun paid a visit!!!
Certainly surprised a few narrowboaters!

If anyone is riding/driving on the A161 between the A18 and Goole (especially on Sunday for the bike show) it seems that they have recently introduced a 50mph speed limit between Crowle and Eastoft, and also for a couple of miles or so from Eastoft towards Goole. They weren't there a couple of weeks ago, I'm sure!
Expect increased police activity thereabouts!

 

Bikes, bacon butties, boats and barges. Brilliant!

I like free. Free is good!

And anyway .... what, pray tell, is wrong with sounding like a Yorkshireman?? Not as good as actually being a Yorkshireman, obviously, but it is a good start!
