I can't believe that for the first time in forty years there's no longer a bike or two in the garage (sold my Ducati a fortnight ago) so started hankering for a new VFR800F or a Sprint ST. Didn't fancy the Sprint GT (most of my runs are local and through the lanes). Tried the VFR - lovely but a bit too soulless, then tried an old (2005) ST with 30k on the clock. Decided on the Triumph and hope to pick it up next week. Seems to run OK; have been reading about various issues on the forums; Madame found the pillion comfortable enough but the seat is a bit low for me and the hump between rider and pillion is not ideal but I hope an after-market seat might cure that if I can't fix it myself.
Looking forward to riding it and keeping fingers crossed that it will be reliable. Will be reading this forum with interest!
