Morning everyone, I am a newbie to the forum but not to trumpets. Had loads over the years and a few others. Got a couple of Harley's and BSA's in the stable as well. Do love the sound of the Harley. Anyway got a small problem I hope someone can help with. I managed to come across an engine and loads of bits for a TR7T and I've fallen in love with it. There's a few important bits missing namely the frame and the mudguards. Evilbay is a great source but bloody expensive, people know what they have. I figure I could fabricate the guards at a pinch but the frame is the tickler. Does anyone out there know of a register or someone really knowledgeable about these bikes. Thanks for now, Steve.
Had to check it - but my initial thought was wrong! 'Tis a 750 cc Tiger Trail, probably in yellow (the piccies I found tended to show a yellow bike), which is a sort of off road/trail thingy descended from the earlier Adventurer. You could just find a suitable frame for the engine and turn it into whatever your heart desires. The state of tune of the engine will differ from that of the standard road bike however. The TOMCC will no doubt have archive material for your bike, although you may have to be a member to gain access to it if what you want is beyond what is already available elsewhere.
