Givi Tank Bag

I was in the market for a small tank bag, mainly have my blood delivery booklets, glasses and phone in for easy access when I got a call , rather than continually having to unzip my jacket to access them etc and also for easy access to passports etc for touring. So I was looking on the small side and found that Shad did one at 3 ltrs and Givi at 4 ltrs which seemed the ideal size, I didn’t want magnetic or stap ons ( Ooer matron) I wanted a secure system easily detachable. So I went to the bike show hoping to visit the aforementioned companies stands and get a deal. Fat chance, much more expensive than online from other websites! But what I did notice was that givi did a locking one, 5 litres, so a bit bigger than I was hoping for but the added security of it being able lock to the tank! Well I’ll go for that I thought, how much? I asked, just under £150 for the bag and mounting kit he said, f#*k off! I thought. Politely said I’d think about it and wandered off. Had a search online when I got back home and found I could get the whole package for just under £100 including the bike specific mounting ring! So I ordered it From here. It’s got a Black Friday deal and £10 off if you give them your email. It arrived in a couple of days and was dead easy to fit etc



It has all the accessories including a seperate waterproof phone holder, reason it’s seperate is that phone sizes are always changing, and waterproof cover and shoulder strap. So there you go, I’m happy with it, ok a bit pricier than the non locking ones but worth it at that reduced rate I think
