Front & Rear Wheel - 2011 Speed Triple

Hi Everyone

I am getting confused left right n centre trying to figure the torque setting for the wheels. Everyone is coming up with different values. I order a Haynes manual and god know what figures are going to show in there!!!. Can someone please kindly validate if I have the correct figures herein below:

Bike: 2011 Speed Triple 1050

Front Wheel Axle: 95Nm
Rear Wheel Nut: 146Nm
Caliper Mounting Bolts: 55Nm
Axle Pinch Bolts: 22Nm

Thanks Darkman. When I take the rear wheel off chain doesn't require an adjustment? Where as the normal swingarm I have worked on, I always have readjust after putting the wheels back on.

65Nm for the front axle! !!where the he'll did I get 95Nm....I would have ended up doing some damage. Thanks a million for the right torque settings; -)

 

Yesterday I took the bike for a full suspension set up and it was pointed out that my rear tire has cracks in them and weird ripples in the middle. I was advised to swap them over before having some fun on the bike. I bought a pair of Metzlers M7RRs 120/70 & 190/55. I am going to take the loose wheels to a my local bike shop and get the tires swapped over.

 

I did but I think I got the figures from the Haynes manual :-(. Looks like I didn't do a good job of it

Thank you Taff. This is so confusing. Am I looking at the wrong figures or vin no in the haynes manual. Mine is a 2011 model. There is massive difference between 65 Nm and 110 Nm.

 

Thanks guys. I feel better and I can trust the haynes manual now. I spoke to haynes today n they cross referenced with triumph and confirmed their haynes figures are correct. They are going to email just that page for me to cross check for my peace of mind . 65 Nm it is

 

Here we go....official triumph manual page I just received from haynes published in 2011. The numbers match that of the haynes manual ;-). I'm happy to go with the haynes instructions :')
