Got a speed triple 94. 16 plate with 10k on it. My issue is fork seals. Im on my 3rd set (no wheelies). Anyone else had problems?

:eek:Bloody hell mate I wouldn’t be expecting to change fork seals once on a bike with only 10k on it let alone 3 times
Definitely something not right here :(
Assuming that you’re getting the correct seals then it could be incorrect fitting/worn or more likely pitted stanchions/too much oil in the fork?
3rd set of seals??? Definitely something not right mate :(

If they are bottoming out and banging on the seals on every bump you ma need to crank up the preload and increase the compression on the forks
As said, it could be too much oil causing hydro lock and this is blowing out the seals
Have they been modified with new springs or pistons, is the oil the correct viscosity?

IMO...Strip em down & start from scratch using Gen seals & oil. Check everything is correct & in place to the original spec.

If you don't know this area well, then i think i would deliver them to Clive woods / Maxton etc to sort out for you mate.

Hope you get it sorted soon.

Keep the front wheel off the ground while not in use or at the very least upright for the winter always do this with modern/heavy bikes

Everything standard. Settings, oil, capacity. No pitting. Although have used allballs seals as they were a bit cheaper. Just ordered triumph ones this time. If they go dnt know what next step is.

Owned about 30 jap bikes thro the years. Never had to do this. Only changed seals once years ago. Bike gets used all year so doesnt sit for long.

Used these before with good results I think they were first used by moto x riders. When the forks go past the normal rate of travel it traps dirt under the seal resulting in a leak and not necessarily meaning the seal has blown. And with today's potholes it happens more often
