Follow up to vorsprung dur shisen

    It is now a few months since the vorsprung debacle and now I am calm enough to talk about the experience(this may come over as "slightly cynical".The Fehling side case holders fitted easily and looked first class,however "followers of the shisen thread"will remember a huge amount of man input(and my woman's input) trying to fit the rear carrier.The fucking thing was put together by people from another galaxy with a 3mm difference on the fixing centres on opposite sides! I eventually convinced the supplier that there was a problem and after returning the twat was reimbursed. When return was agreed I asked could the supplier send me another one he used this phrase which will be my Mantra when I am living in a home he replied QUOTE: "It's the last one in the world----sorry" so I have my new motorcycle but no luggage capacity at all, this is why I am a pessimist

    Hi Wee Neil, unless I'm missing something, you have your money back so why don't you just go and buy some other luggage?

    What? The neighbourhood was alright for a triumph owner but its too tatty for a KTM owner?

    Well that place wasn't suitable. It only had 3 bedrooms so not enough space for a "Sophisticated Gentlemen" visit - you'll have to slum it where we are now.

    BTW, found a new restaurant (about 5 kms from us) last Wednesday which proved to be very nice.

    Run by an ex-Parisien restaurateur (biker) who's now set up in the 'sticks'. Excellent service, great grub and 13.50€. The deal comprises : starter, main course, cheeseboard and dessert. Wine and coffee included. Excellent value.
