Do you carry one? I figure if you got it you won't need it, kinda a reverse Murphy's law

Lets face it, if you’re carrying one under your seat, you’re not actually likely to be carrying it for yourself but rather some unfortunate you meet on the road... apart from lower speed gravel rash/laceration injuries. Once you start adding speed into the mix, the more debilitating your injury is likely to be and the less likely you are to be able to pull your bike out of the hedge/tractor/Volvo , take the seat off and splint your pelvis with what’s stored under it,
So first of all, get yourself some life saving information... understanding of the abc approach to basic life support is most helpful... then in your kit, have something to stem blood loss, large and small pads and crepe bandages, something that can apply pressure. I’m sure we’ll have some better trained trauma-medical people on here than myself... but that would be my basic first aid recommendation for the ordinary Joe

Duct tape for holes and leaks, cable ties for breaks and splints.

    Done :)
