Hi there, really new to everything here....... First time on a forum, first big bike being delivered on Wednesday and still in my first month of having a full bike license!
I’m getting a 2015 Street Triple RX delivered on 01/05/19 and can’t wait was just wondering on what exhaust to get for it as it has the standard exhaust on it, also I’ve seen some manufacture say you need a valve mapped out is that likely to be dealer only?
    Any help/advice greatly appreciated

Allow me to say worry a bit more about what is in front of you rather than what is behind you until you have a few more months in the saddle!

Stay safe. Middle age isn’t always a cure for misplaced enthusiasm!!

(Probably grumpy because the number of middleweights that scream past my house on noisy cans through the summer months gets me grinding my teeth!)

Not totally new to biking as have ridden a 125 for the past year, and fully appreciate what your saying, but do think I may need it to sound a bit better than the factory exhaust supplied, but am also conscious that leaving for work at 6.30am I don’t want to annoy my neighbors!!

I'd agree....after 49 years riding and modifying I reached the conclusion that keeping it standard is probably the least troublesome option.
Having said that one of mine has a non standard silencer.
Frankly on a 200 mile ride it starts to irritate.
I'll be fitting the original soon.

I will second the peeps that have said get used to the bike first. It's no 125 and it can surprise the best of riders. You will love that triple ripple and when it try's to talk to you. The oem can is quite nice sounding at least till you have the bike run in.
    Ride Safe & Enjoy
    Joe.

Some people won’t even notice you’re there with a loud exhaust.
I used to have a Ducati 999 with a full Akra race system on it. Bloody noisy thing it was, sounded beautiful though
It still didn’t stop a deaf, myopic old bugger from trying to change lanes while I was at the side of him.
I was right next to his drivers door and he didn’t realise until I banged on his window as he started to move over! o_O

Hi mate & welcome to the forum, can't go wrong with Arrow as the are made for the bike and there is always a map available at the Triumph dealers.

I agree, my 2013 675 has the standard exhaust and I’m surprised how loud it is straight from the factory, try it for a couple weeks before you make any changes.
