In another thread about tail tidys

    http://www.thetriumphforum.co.uk/threads/tail-tidy-speed-triple-2016-r.8431/

Evotech came out on top and I bought one for my 2016 triple, and I was very pleased, on the back of that I bought some shorty levers, Radiator guard and oil cooler guard.

The levers, They are not ASV quality but they are not ASV price they are up there with Pazzo's maybe if being really critical not quite there 95% there, and with the price they are over pazzo I would take the evotech, I had some ASV's on a CBR1000RR and hands down they were the best levers I have ever had but at over £200 for a set thats what you expect pazzo were about 160 and evotech came in at 100 so value for money and quality evotech would get my money again. I have had cheap ebay knock offs as well and whilst they worked and did they job quality wise they don't compete.

The rad guard and oil cooler are well made and robust and they are a good fit. and fitted in about 10 minutes I would recommend.

So if your thinking of splashing some cash I would recommend evotech stuff.

I agree, EvoTech are great products for the money. There's mine with folding full length levers.

Yeah, I rate the Evotech gear from my Ducati years (more so than R&G)

I'll be getting one of their radiator guards for the Thruxton R soon.

The other day I had a very large bug crash and permanently dent the rather delicate radiator grill. I will get one of these radiator guards, ASAP.

    Looking good!

Are those heated grips you have on?
Thinking about getting some fitted to my speed and the shorty levers.

    Speed triple 2016 R

A warning for 2016/17 speed triple owners fitting Evotech radiator guards
I fitted the Evotech radiator and oil cooler guards yesterday, the oil cooler went on no problem, but the radiator guard has the fixing holes machined 5mm to high, resulting in the guard being to low against the radiator. The top lip of the guard presses against the top of the radiator instead of sitting on it and the bottom has a gap of 5mm.
I have fitted it for now as it was getting dark and i didn't realise until i was finished, but I will take it off next weekend and drill out the holes so it fits correctly

Mine fitted without issue as you have described, I would be inclined to contact Evotech.

I appreciate these comments, they are very helpful. I wanted to fit guards for radiator and oil cooler as there is a plethora of road debris here is the desert. Am most concerned about added heat caused by these covers though. Does anyone notice heat increasing since install, please?

I have had guards on all my radiators and never noticed a reduction in heat transfer efficiency
I think the benefit far outweighs the minimal effect

Yes they are heated grips, I went for the Genuine Triumph ones, they work well enough, the windblast took away some of the heating effect when it was very cold when I used the bike in jan/feb, but overall happy with them. one bug bear is the switch for them, I think they could of done a better job, I had some on my S1000RR nice and discreet button, triumph on the other hand............

I know what you mean, a mate has OEM ones on his r1200r very nice.

Still better looking than Oxford ones.

Will have to see the dealer to see what's what I think

I've got a 2016 Speed Triple R and I fitted the Evotech Radiator + Oil Guards without issues. It is of really great quality and looks good.

Regarding the decrease in cooling properties I haven't noticed anything unusual since fitting the guards about a month ago. If you do end up purchasing them do remember that the days are quickly getting warmer and any change could be due to that rather than the added airflow barrier.
Ride safe in Phoenix, I miss that place!
