I have a 2021 850 Sport. My bike is rated at 84 horsepower. This model year 900 Tiger's were rated at 93 horsepower. The 2024 Tiger's are rated 106. The posted engine specifications look the same. Can I get a tune to get some or all of this power out of my engine? I'm out of warrantee, so that's not an issue.

    I don't know about the Tiger's but......
The mark 1 StreetTwin I have was 10 bhp down on the mark 2.
I replaced the original Triumph camshaft that was frankly useless and a joke.
I'd be surprised now if my bike didn't exceed the later mk2 factory performance figures.
Mine has k&N filter, decat, Vance and Hines pipes, no baffles and the Tec cam.

The cam made the biggest change, research carefully.

    I have a tiger 900 2021

The ecu limits the amount of throttle and never gives 100% at high rpm
To obtain 100% of throttle the ecu maps can be changed with the tuneecu software
    https://tuneecu.net/
you need a license and it costs like $30 dollars, if I remember correctly

You also need the OBD interface I use OBDlink LX it costs $90 dollars in amazon

Youtube tutorial to use the software to increase power

I did it for my motorcyce, I can only feel a difference above 7000rpm, at full throttle , so going like a maniac, which I rarely do.

I thought Triumph had the ECU ‘fixed’ so that it couldn’t be remapped?
