Bastards, can't believe there actually telling people this. It's shite doon here, don't come, it rains and the place is full of tories.....
I was gonnae say we’re MUCH more cheerful in the Scottish Borders but didna want they rievin’ bashtards frae Dumb Freeze comin’ tae tak a wee gander!
That's the neighbour gone down hill!!! Just looked, lost £20k on my house value since this news came out today!!!!!
At least you won’t be neighbours with Mr O. Ron’s not posh Could be worse you could live next door to me
The Honey Monster Being honest I have good neighbours. They put up with my antenna in the back garden so thankfully I get to play on my radios
This is what I look at , rather more pleasant than my erection in the garden. HF rig and linear along with ATU and VHF / UHF rig. Couple of other ancillary bits of equipment in the photo as well. HF rig is computer controlled, computer also does logging and various digital modes. The mic does get used for phone as well. We amateurs are well equipped
The most impora The most important part of it is the receiver and it’s ability to handle interfering signals. The grey box is the linear ( if you were on CB burner ), The ATU is a matcher in CB lingo. I certainly hope it’s good gear or I have been conned Sadly it can be a very expensive hobby but conversely it can also be cheap depending on how modern or how much you are prepared to build yourself. Most of us have there main station and then build other bits and bobs. I actually have a home built HF rig as well. It was more an exercise to teach myself about how the radios we use work. I still use it it’s just not in the picture.
