    Ok all,

These Cameras are topping the pole in comparison to the more expensive GoPro jobbies and look a lot neater too...

So I have spoken to Steve at Conquest Carbon regarding being able to get these cameras, he in turn has spoken to rep regarding them and he would need to place a first order for five so as to become a stockist.

I am definitely going to get one, Is there anyone else interested in buying one??

Obviously Steve needs to know he can sell all five before taking the plunge.

Ok I have one othese now... Very nice..

What I would like to know is just how good are the sticky pads?
I have stuck one on the carbon radiator shroud facing forward, seems a good position... Is it safe?

Have purchased a few mounts as well so will try a few other positions as well.... Want to try and get one on the handle bar, but SatNav takes up quite a bit of room..

Hoping to get some good film of the alps...

  5. Be interested to see how you get on - I didn't get the handle bar mount as I thought it would be too low behind the instruments. Pretty much decided I'll just stick with the helmet mount - that way I can add a mic - if only to cancel the wind noise - and if ever there was an incident at least you know you'll catch it just by looking that way!

Have to say very happy with camera so far... Going on trip next week so will hopefully get some good footage.
May also place pad on helmet... Bought some handlebar mounts but don't think I will use them...

  12. Will have to have a look at that - although I'm sitting here with my helmet in bits - just fitted my new Drift mic - which means the camera will have to be on the helmet! Not really looking to make running commentaries - just get rid of the windnoise and hopefully pick up some bike noise!
Was planning to get out this morning and experiment with angles and field of view settings - rain though so hopefully to tomorrow!

Yep fixed a pad to helmet and tested it with iphone (great App for testing.) under normal riding positions the speedo should hopefully be hidden from view...:upyeah:
    will see after the trip...

  14. Haven't had chance to confirm yet but 170 deg gave a good view of road AND speedo / rev counter (good for track days) whereas 130 not only narrowed the view but also seemed to cropp top and bottom so speedo out of sight. I say not confirmed though as I'm not completely sure I had the Universal mount set at the same angle - may have been out by one notch...
Was trying the narrower angle because 170 was capturing quite a bit of my helmet - using a flip up (C3) so have to set the mount back a bit.
And Yes - the iphone definitely beats a mirror to help setting up!
