Hello, any words of wisdom appreciated. I have taken the fuel tank off my 2005 Cast Wheel Tiger 955i. The Manual says to refit the tank using new fuel connector O rings. I have bought the O rings but can't see where or how to fit them.

BTW, I also have a Daytona 955i and on the Daytona the O rings are easily fitted on the connectors protruding from the tank. This is not so on the Tiger 955. See attached photo's of my Tiger 955 male tank fitting and the female fuel hose connector.

    Cheers

Looks to me like the O ring is the white ring in the hose connector.
Doesn’t look like it’s easily replaced though. : unamused:

I’d have thought that this type of fitting is less likely to suffer from a damaged O ring than the CPC type like those on other models.

On my Daytona, the O rings go on the male hose end fittings as the quick release female fittings are screwed into the tank fuel plate.

Thanks. Yes, that sounds about right for my Daytona as well. It's been a while since I had the tank off the Daytona but I remember the O rings just went on the male connectors and it wasn't a problem.
